Happy New Year!

“It is incredibly difficult to find the right words to fully express gratefulness to people who have invested, served, and cheered you on.”  Thank you doesn’t seem sufficient.  Yet!  My family and I are deeply grateful and want to say, “Thank You”.

It has been a wonderful yet challenging 10 year journey for my family in Baltimore.  Looking back, wow!  Our Father has been so good to us and has blessed us with a calling to display His greatness in Baltimore.

In 2017, you provided help and hope to the people in our city, Guatemala and refugee’s in Syria.

This year, we are going to build on this foundation.  We will be strengthening our work with the poor and homeless here in Baltimore.  We will be taking more steps in the village transformation we have started in Puerta De Golpe.  We will be looking for more ways to serve refugee’s and those who are being oppressed for their faith in Jesus Christ.

Our First Step in the New Year, is going to start on Sunday, January 7.  Our brothers and sisters who gather in Riverside (formeryly Riverside Baptist Church) have been serving food to the hungry for over 15 years EVERY Sunday morning at 7am.  We are now the stewards of this ministry.  Will you join my family as we serve this Sunday (Please, arrive by 6:45am)?  Come and see what is happening.  Come and serve men and woman who need to be known and loved.  We specifically need male volunteers.  The majority who come are men.  We want to expose you to need in January so we can build a team to strengthen this ministry.  You can receive more information by emailing us here:

I can’t wait to see how God uses His Church to expand His Kingdom in 2018!  Thank you for being the physical hands and feet of our King and sharing a message of Hope & Good News!  You have made an impact in 2017 that will be felt for all eternity.  Yes,  there is more for us to do as we wait patiently for Jesus Christ to return.  Let’s choose Joy as we walk together in prayer and generosity.

Grace and Peace be with you…

Good Morning Pastor Ellis,

Thank you for such a hope-filled letter. I will be at Riverside this coming Sunday morning. Do you need me to bring any cooking / serving supplies or any other items? Just let me know and I’ll provide.

Stay warm and take care,
